Celebrity Big Brother starts in THREE weeks with Sarah Harding, EXOTB’s Jordan Davis and Helen Lederer leading the line-up ready to enter the famous house
CELEBRITY Big Brother starts in just three weeks, with celebrities including Sarah Harding, Jordan Davis and Helen Lederer all preparing to go into the house.
The Sun Online can reveal the start date for this series is August 3, one week later than last year’s summer launch.
Hosts Emma Willis and Rylan Clark will barely have a week off, as the civilian series of Big Brother isn’t expected to end until July 28 – giving them just six days in between.
A show insider said: “They’ve pencilled in August 3 as the launch date and it looks likely it’ll start on this date which doesn’t leave much time at all.”
This series of CBB looks set to be one of the most explosive yet, with bosses hoping there will be more scandal than ever thanks to some of their big name signings.
The Sun Online revealed former Girls Aloud star Sarah had signed up for the series last week.
Sarah’s involvement emerged days after her affair with Danny Dyer was exposed, with the singer handed a lucrative deal to appear on the series.
While the 35-year-old is keen to appear on CBB, she is thought to be having doubts about returning to the spotlight.
An insider said: “Sarah is fully onboard. But she is not sure if she feels ready.
“She has been enjoying a career out of the spotlight recently and is not sure she wants to give up her low-key presence just yet.”
She will be joined by Megan McKenna’s ex-boyfriend, Jordan Davies.
A source told us: “The show turned her into reality TV gold and viewers can’t get enough of anything about her – even her ex.
“It’s why the bosses wanted Jordan – it will make for explosive television.”
Alongside these pair, The Sun Online confirmed Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer was offered a mega £300,000 pay cheque to sign on the dotted line.
An insider close to the actress said: “Helen’s a great addition to this year’s line-up and is sure to be a big hit with fans.
“They offered her a big money deal that was hard to turn down and she’s looking forward to going into the house later this summer.”
Other names that have been rumoured to appear include Stephen Bear, Sinitta and Towie star Bobby Norris.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 told The Sun Online: “We haven’t confirmed the finale of BB nor the start of CBB yet.”
