PRINCESS Diana is fondly remembered in the emotional  ITV documentary, which features moving testimonies from her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.

When is Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy on TV?

The documentary airs at 6pm tonight (Sunday, July 30) on ITV. The documentary was comissioned to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death in a Paris car crash on August 31, 1997.

The show will focus on her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, who will offer their perspective on Diana's contributions to public life, and her extensive charity work.

The landmark documentary will also feature a host of key figures in the Princess' life who knew her best.

Is there a trailer for Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy?

ITV unveiled a trailer for the documentary on Saturday July 7, 2017.

The teaser clip focuses on Prince William and Prince Harry looking through a private family album as they recall some of their most treasured memories of their late mother.

In the trailer, Prince Harry claims: "This is the first time that the two of us have ever spoke about her as a mother."

His elder brother, William, reveals: "She was very informal and really enjoyed laughter and fun... she understood that there was life outside of palace walls."

What have producers said about the film?

According to executive producer Nick Kent, the film will offer a unique view of the Princess.

He said: "This film will show Princess Diana in a way she has never been seen before, through the eyes of the two people who knew her best."

Jo Clinton-Davis, ITV's Head of Factual Entertainment, said: "This new ITV film will offer viewers a fresh and revealing insight into Princess Diana through the personal and intimate reflections of her two sons and of her friends and family, many of whom have never spoken before, to bring together a definitive portrait of a unique person who touched the lives of millions."
