Love Island’s Tyla Carr and Jonny Mitchell row after explosive recoupling which saw Theo choose her – before the men call a truce
TYLA Carr is less than impressed with "immature" Love Island flame Jonny Mitchell after he called Theo Campbell a "gigantic bell-end" at the recoupling ceremony.
Jonny was furious when Theo picked his would-be girlfriend Tyla, leaving him to pair off with jilted Amber Davies, who was muscled out by new arrival Georgia Harrison.
Tyla wasn't happy with the recoupling either - but she was equally miffed about Jonny's reaction, when he lashed out at Theo and the two boys squared up to each other as if they wanted a fight.
She tells Jonny: "Obviously I know you were angry but it made me look stupid because I had to back you and the comment was just a bit immature, it was just a bit silly."
He claims: "It was a heat of the moment thing, it’s not something I would normally do but I was annoyed."
But she is having none of his excuses.
Tyla says: "You’re allowed to be annoyed but there are 100 better ways of dealing with it.
"Acting like you did the whole time he’s been here had probably pushed him further into wanting to pick me. Alex was cool about the situation.

"I just think the whole situation could have been a lot different and you could have come out of it looking a lot better. All you’ve come out looking like is a bit childish."
She tells Jonny he'd better apologise to his love rival before making her way to the Beach Hut to vent.
Tyla reveals that Jonny, who ditched fan favourite Camilla Thurlow because he was desperate to "rip her clothes off", is not behaving as she would expect him to.
She says: "With Jonny I’m feeling like I’ve taken a couple of steps backwards.
"Partly the reason Theo picked me is a lot of Jonny’s fault. He did put a massive barrier up and when you put a barrier up in front of a guy, they kind of just want to beat it down.
"I was just a bit angry with how he dealt with the situation."
For his part Jonny mans up and apologises to Theo. He explains: "I just wanted to apologise for being personal last night.
"I got a bit upset there, I didn’t have a lot of time to think and when I saw you pick Tyla, it made me lose my head.
"I shouldn't have been personal to you. At the end of the day, we've all got decisions to make."
Theo is quite taken aback by the apology and tells Jonny he wasn't expecting anything of the sort. The two shake hands and call a truce - though Jonny adds: "You've got to do what you’ve got to do but just try and respect what I've got going on with her please."
But Kem Cetinay reckons Jonny's apology might be too little, too late - his money is on Tyla swaying.
He says: "I think she really likes him but she is a boisterous girl, she likes to be a bit silly and at the moment he’s good sometimes but he needs to give her a bit of space and banter.
"Reacting like that isn’t going to work. If you react to everything man, game over."
And he might be right - on a romantic brunch date in their couples, Tyla speculates on how things might go between her and Theo if she and Jonny aren't meant to be, hinting she might be looking for a way out.
But Tyla's not that impressed with Theo either. She might not have appreciate Jonny's outburst, she says, but Theo's reaction was no better.
She says: "I think it was outrageous that you squared up to him. Laughing it off would have been a much more gentlemanly or manly thing to do. Either way both of you were completely childish."
Though Theo still thinks he can convince Tyla he'll be better for her than Jonny. He says: "I believe you are a strong girl and you realistically need a strong man as well.
"If he can lose his head that easily, imagine you go to a club or something and you get a photo with another boy, he'll lose his head.
"I'm quite good at reading people and it's not going to be any different outside."
Also in Sunday night's episode, Amber and Kem do their best to stay strong after new girl Georgia Harrison split them up, while Chris and Olivia might have reached breaking point. And sparks fly - in a good way - between Camilla and new boy Jamie Jewitt.
