Theo has revealed why he split from his Love Island co-star
THEO Campbell suffered a horrific accident just two years after appearing on the third series of Love Island.
He was supported during his recovery by then-girlfriend Kaz Crossley, who is heading back onto the show for Love Island: All Stars series two in 2025.
Theo was born on July 14, 1991, in Bath, England.
He is a former athlete, having competed for Team GB and England over 400 metres and in 4x400metre relays.
He rocketed to fame when he appeared on Love Island in 2017.
Fans quickly fell in love with the star, who towered over his competition on the dating show.
After the show the 6ft 5inch tall star started dating series two Love Island cast member Kaz Crossley in March 2019.
Theo made headline news when he had a tragic accident in Ibiza in 2019.
A champagne bottle was opened too close to his face, cause the cork to hit him in the eye.
He was left partially blind in that eye after the incident.
Kaz took to social media to show support for her boyfriend and thanked him for "keeping her grounded".
Some time later, Theo finally opened up about the incident on social media.
Theo said: "Thanks for all the messages and support.
"I’ve got over the last couple days they’re all very much appreciated.
"So yeah basically two eye surgeries later after a really unfortunate accident, I’ve lost all vision in my right eye as it got split in half, who would have thought a champagne cork would be the end of me.”
Kaz and Theo split in early 2020, after spending eleven months together.
On a radio show that year, Theo suggested that Kaz had "sold" him a "dream".
He also revealed that he was "slinged" by Kaz.
The pair , where they were able to put their differences aside.
Since then Theo announced that he had become a dad with influencer Sapphire Yhnell.
Theo's ex-partner Kaz will be appearing on the second series of Love Island: All Stars.
She will be joined by Ekin-Su Culculoglu, who famously dated Davide Sanclimenti, as well as Gabby Allen.
The series will kick off on January 13, 2025 on ITV2.
