Mamma Mia 2 out in the UK TODAY! Here We Go Again cast and trailer revealed
MAMMA Mia is back for a hit summer sequel - ten years on from the first film.
So who's in the cast this time? When is it out and what's the plot? Here's all you need to know about the Abba inspired movie...
When is Mamma Mia 2 out in the UK?
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is released in UK cinemas TODAY (July 20, 2018).
It runs for an hour and 54 minutes.
The age rating for the film is PG-13 in the US which means it's likely a 12A in the UK.
What will Mamma Mia 2 be about?
In Mamma Mia 2, Sophie (played by Amanda Seyfried), returns to her childhood home pregnant and single.
With the help of her mother Donna's childhood friends, she is told the story of how her own mum prepared for a life with a daughter in a series of flashbacks.
It will also go into more depth about the tricky situation Donna (played by Meryl Streep and, in flashback, Lily James) found herself in that left any one of three men Sophie's father.
Just when she thinks things can't get any more complicated, her nan (played by Cher) also makes an unexpected appearance on the island.
The film will be subtitled Here We Go Again.
What songs will be in Mamma Mia 2?
As the original film is based on the songs of ABBA, the second film will also be a musical.
When the film is released, it will mark the ten year anniversary of the original movie's release.
So far, picture house Universal has promised that some of the songs featured will be new songs not in the first flick, but "some old classics" will also make an appearance.
Ol Parker, the man behind the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel films, wrote and directed the new instalment.
Original ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus also agreed to provide music and lyrics.
