James Lock reveals Essex hairdresser Kem Cetinay ‘will join Towie’ after leaving the Love Island villa

LOVE Island star Kem Cetinay could be set to join Towie according to cast member James Lock.

The hunky hairdresser has been tipped to swap steaming nights in the Mallorcan love nest for even more drama and agg over in Essex.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, James said: "There's a good chance Kem could join the show. He's certainly not my best mate but I do know him and he does know a lot of the TOWIE cast.

"He knows a few of the girls and has cut Pete Wicks and Dan Edgar's hair before so if there's definitely a possibility producers will see if there's a storyline when he leaves Love Island."

Lockie’s inside information comes as another show insider confirmed that Kem joining is a “big possibility.”

The source said: "Nothing has been decided with regards to Kem joining the show but it's certainly a big possibility.

"Producers know that he is friends with a lot of the cast and there's certainly the option to bring him onto the show if there's a storyline to warrant it.

"He certainly seems to be a big hit with Love Island viewers and there's a big cross over between Love Island and TOWIE fans so it makes sense.

"Bosses have also seen how much of a ratings' hit bringing Megan McKenna on to the show from Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother as proved."

Kem has proved a big hit on the popular ITV2 dating show due to his on-off romance with Amber Davies but Lockie suggested he would find it harder back in the not-so-sunny Essex.

He added: "TOWIE is scripted reality so it's more like a soap. People join but not everyone can handle it."

Lockie also warned Kem off his girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou adding: "If Kem does join he better not try stick it on Yaz became I’ll stick him in the ground.

"Not that Yaz would be interested. He's a midget. He's like Danny Devito.”

And it looks like Kem will have a familiar face in the cast as dumped Islander Chloe Crowhurst is also in talks to join the show.

A source told The Sun Online yesterday: “Chloe was extremely popular with Love Island viewers and Towie bosses know she’d be a huge hit with audiences on the show, so she is already in talks to join the cast.”
