EastEnders spoilers: Lauren Branning leaves Walford for New Zealand after dumping Steven Beale
After months of unhappiness Lauren has decided to leave Steven and go back to Peter Beale
LAUREN Branning has finally decided to end things with Steven Beale and move back to New Zealand in EastEnders.
The marketing assistant - who is played by actress Jacqueline Osborne in the BBC soap - hasn't been happy in her relationship for a long time but now she has finally made a drastic decision.
With her sister Abi's scheming to try and split her up with boyfriend Steven so she can have him for herself, but her first attempt backfires.
Revealing what he heard while watching Lauren on the previous Friday, he rejects Abi's advances and puts her right out.
Jealous Abi is furious when she realises that Steven is focused on Lauren and only Lauren, despite cheating with Abi.
Meanwhile, with a lot on her mind, Lauren meets with her boss and flirting partner Josh and tells him she can’t stop thinking about what happened on Friday when she makes the shock decision.
As the pair chat, Lauren admits she doesn’t love Steven anymore and she needs to end the relationship.
Later when Lauren prepares to tell Steven what she has decided, she can't find a way to do it and ends up confiding her plans in her dad Max.
At Beale’s, Abi pays a visit to Steven and pushes him to choose her over Lauren but Steven insists he loves Lauren and will stick by her, not knowing that she is planning to break his heart.
After bumping into Josh in the Square, a suspicious Abi checks-in on Lauren and learns of her plans to end things with Steven.
The scheming sister sees an opportunity and makes a suggestion that sees Lauren decide to go to New Zealand with baby Louie.
Steven starts to realise something is going on with Lauren and grows increasingly paranoid at her intentions when he can't find her on any of his stalking devices.
Believing she’s staying at Jack’s, Steven heads over there but is soon sent on his way leading him to think the worst and when Joss arrives he snaps, losing control.
Then with Lauren getting ready to leave Walford, Steven faces a race against time to discover her plan and stop her before it's too late.
