Lotan Carter reveals he’s received hundreds of death threats but insists he’s not a woman beater as he apologises for abusive behaviour
LOTAN Carter has revealed he has received 'hundreds' of death threats after appearing on Big Brother.
The stripper - who was booted out of the Channel 5 reality show after a furious bust-up with Isabelle Warbuton - has claimed he has received hateful messages from cruel trolls since leaving the show as he apologised for his behaviour towards her.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online in his first interview since being kicked out of the house, he said: "I have never raised a hand to any woman.
"I would never do that. I am not that kind of man. I’ve had death threats. But I would never hurt another human being, let alone a woman.
"I never got personal. Yes, I attacked the way Isabelle looks and I’m sorry for that. I truly am. When I said I would destroy her physically and mentally – it was so out of context.
"I would never touch another human being. Let alone a female. Let alone touch someone who’s already got a problem with me and I’ve got a problem with them."
He added: "I’m angry and drunk but I’m not stupid. I never had any intention of doing anything.
"If someone gets very personal about me, eventually I will do it too. In the end I couldn’t bring myself to do it because it’s not who I am or what I want to be."
Speaking of the multiple death threats he had received, he said: "I’ve had so many death threats, they’re laughable.
"Most of them are 'eggs' on Twitter and they’re not even brave enough to put a photo of their face next to it and own it.
He also hit back at suggestions he was a "woman hater" and abusive towards women after his many rows with his fellow housemates including the drink throwing incident involving Isabelle and his many bust-ups with Hannah.
"If I was a woman beater or a woman hater, how would I have had an eight year career with the Dreamboys," he said.

"It’s ridiculous. That is not me and I am not like that. I’ve gone out for coffee with some of the show’s superfans, they know I’m nice and I’m not like that."
The row has left him unable to look at social media because of the abuse he has received.
"I don’t even want to acknowledge social media at the moment," he added.
"I’ve got the people I care about around me in real life. I’m concentrating on that now."
But it wasn't all bad for Lotan as he has also received positive messages about his time in the show.
He said: "With all the hate I’ve had lovely messages. I’ve just had thousands of positive and supportive messages and I am so grateful for that."
Lotan exclusively told The Sun Online how he had begged to leave the house before the row but was convinced to stay and despite being in agony with an ulcer that later burst forcing bosses to rush him to hospital for treatment.
