The mother-of-three has kept a relatively low profile as far music and touring is concerned, but could the self-proclaimed Queen Bey potentially head back on tour this year? Keep reading to find out!
Is Beyonce starring in a new movie?
The Bootylicious singer had been teasing fans with her Netflix film, Homecoming, since the beginning of April, before the streaming giant would go on to confirm that April 17 would mark the date the documentary was set to premiere on their platform.
The feature-length film focuses its attention on her journey to her big night performing at Coachella: preparations, rehearsals, and never-before-seen video footage of Beyonce and her family gearing up for what would ultimately be known as Beychella.
Is Beyonce releasing new music?
Yes- Beyonce shocked fans by dropping an album version of her Coachella set and a brand new song on the same day as her Netflix documentary Homecoming was released.
Following the release of Homecoming, what fans didn't know was that Beyonce had recorded original music to go along with the visuals as the feature-length motion picture.
Homecoming: The Live Album surfaced right after the Netflix documentary had been made available for streaming on April 17, 2019, which includes all of the songs that the 1+1 hitmaker performed during her incredible set.
Including live versions of her Crazy In Love and Drunk In Love remixes as well as her reunion with Destiny's Child and performances with hubbie Jay-Z and sister Solange.
A whopping 40 tracks make up the record's entire body of work.
Surprisingly enough, Beyonce has also included a on the album, including Before I Let Go - a cover of Maze's 1981 song of the same name- which was co-written and produced by Memphis native Tay Keith, who is a frequent collaborator with artists such as Drake and 21 Savage.
Another new song featured on the album is titled Lift Every Voice and Sing, where fans can hear Blue Ivy showing off her singing abilities before Momma Bey bursts out into a cheery applause, giving her daughter plenty of praise.
Blue is then heard saying: "I want to do that again," to which Beyonce laughs: "You're like mommy, huh?"
"It feels good," Blue responds.
Will Beyonce be touring the UK in 2019?
There has been no word on whether Beyonce plans to head back on the road anytime soon.
But given that she has dropped two new songs from her HOMECOMING Netflix documentary, it would seem more than likely that she's potentially cooking up material for a full body of work.
Beyonce and her husband enjoyed an incredible amount of commercial success during their One the Run II tour, which grossed an astounding $253.5 million from just 48 dates.
Her previous tour, The Formation World Tour, grossed $256 million at the box office, showing clear signs that everything Beyonce does (or even tends to put her name on) quite literally turns into money.
