ULRIKA Jonsson became a household name in the 90s, appearing on many of the nation’s favourite TV shows.
In the early noughties, Ulrika was romantically involved with the late Sven Göran Eriksson — who was laid to rest in a service at Fryskande Church in his hometown of Torsby, Sweden on September 13, 2024.
Ulrika Jonsson was born on August 16, 1967, in Sollentuna, Sweden.
The presenter and actress has been a fixture on British TV since the late 80s, hosting some of the UK’s biggest shows.
She started as a weather presenter on TV-am in 1989, before progressing to entertainment shows.
As a team captain on cult comedy panel show Shooting Stars, Ulrika proved that she's got plenty of strings to her bow.
She hosted Gladiators from 1992-1999, and took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.
She won the show ahead of Terry Christian.
Ulrika returned for Ultimate Big Brother in 2010.
She finished in seventh.
Ulrika has been single since her 2019 divorce, and even went on Celebs Go Dating in 2022 hoping to find love.
She has previously married three times.
In April 2019, Ulrika announced that she had split from Brian Monet after 11 years of marriage.
Opening up about her unsuccessful efforts to save the relationship, Ukrika said: “You can only resolve problems with another person.
“If I’m honest, getting another divorce age 51 is not where I thought I would be, so who knows?
"I just don’t know what shape my future will take."
Ulrika's first husband was John Turnbull, whom she was married to between 1990 and 1995.
Next up she wed Lance Gerrard-Wright in 2003, but the marriage only lasted three years.
In 2002, Ulrika confirmed she had a brief relationship with Sven-Göran Eriksson while he was dating Italian lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio.
The Swedish presenter also had a high-profile fling with former professional footballer Stan Collymore.
Ulrika has four children in total.
She gave birth to her first child in October 1994 at the age 27 — a son named Cameron Oskar George Turnbull.
His father is Ulrika’s first husband John Turnbull.
Cameron studied filmmaking at university with the ambition of becoming a director.
On September 17, 2020, Ulrika wrote on her Instagram about when she dropped off her son to university.
The post said: "This day SEVEN years ago, I dropped you off at Uni. Drove home and mourned for 3 months.
"Couldn't go in your room. Sobbed every night I laid the table for one less. Felt heartbroken, bereft.
"For all those parents going through the same right now: it does eventually get better.
"And then they come home penniless, hungover and qualified as plonkers (and in Goldenballs' case, Film Director)."
Ulrika’s second child, Bo Eva Coeur Jonsson, was born with a congenital heart defect.
Her father is German hotel boss Markus Kempen.
Bo wrote in The Sun in 2021 that she had never met her father.
After Ulrika married Brian, Bo asked if he would adopt her before taking his surname — she is now known as Bo Jonsson Monet.
Ulrika's third child, Martha Sky Hope Gerrard-Wright, was born on May 28, 2004.
Her father is businessman Lance Gerrard-Wright.
Ulrika gave her the nickname Moo because “her eyelashes were unashamedly long, like moo cows”.
Malcolm Monet, Ulrika’s fourth child, was born in 2008 after she tied the knot with Brian.
She very rarely shows off snaps of her four kids, but in October 2021, Ulrika shared a photo of them all together as they enjoyed a Sunday roast.
Over the years Ulrika has been a big presence on British television.
