Jessie Wallace shows she’s put an end to ten-year feud with sister Danielle Mason as the two leave ex-EastEnders star Chucky Venn’s birthday bash
EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace publicly ended her ten-year feud with her glamour model sister Danielle Mason with an epic boozing session and returning to her wild ways.
The half-sisters, who share the same mum Annette, reunited for a raucous night on the tiles at London’s Gilgamesh nightclub on Sunday, but Jessie was snapped being carried out of the venue on a bouncer’s shoulder.
Jessie, 45, who plays Kat Moon on the BBC soap, and Danielle, 33, patched up their rocky relationship last year when their grandfather passed away.
A source said: “Encouraged by family, the sisters reached out to each other last year and decided to bury the hatchet once and for all. They’re both mothers and they want their kids to grow up knowing each other.
“Danielle’s been supporting Jessie after her spin-off show Redwater flopped and she worries about her future in EastEnders.”
Their rowing reached an all time low in 2014 when Danielle accused Jessie of turning her back on her stepdad Ron when he was in hospital with leukaemia.
She said at the time: “Jessie’s behaviour has disgusted us. Dad was dying in intensive care, Mum was in pieces and Jessie couldn’t even be bothered to pick up the phone.
“Luckily he pulled through. But if he hadn’t, he would have died without Jessie ever seeing him again. And the worst part of it is, I don’t think she cared.”
Danielle Mason, 33, seemed displeased with the attention that the drunken duo gained upon their exit.
The former glamour model stuck two fingers up once the pair finally made it into a nearby car.
Giving fans a glimpse inside the glitzy bash, Danielle took to Twitter to share a picture of the wild antics, adding the caption: "Rocking it with the sister."
She later revealed: "Had too much of a wild night last night, I'm so embarrassed today."
Jessie, who has a 12-year-old daughter Tallulah Lilac, has a history of boozing.
In 2003 she appeared in court on a drink-driving charge and was briefly suspended from Eastenders for bad behaviour, she has also admitted to taking cocaine.
The actress recently revealed she doesn't miss playing Kat Slater in Eastenders - and hates it when fans shout her most famous line at her in the street.
Jessie's outrageous character was involved in some of the soap’s biggest storylines, but arguably her most memorable was her showdown with daughter Zoe in 2001.
Zoe had always believed they were sisters, unaware Kat had given birth to her, and the memorable scene saw her shout: “You can’t tell me what to do…you ain’t my mother,” across the square, before Kat shouted back “Yes I am!”
Opening up on her exit from the soap, Jessie, 45, said her fans still shout the line at her in the street, telling the : “Someone did it yesterday and I just gave them a dirty look.
“When people see me they say ‘Go on… say it, say it’. And I’m just like ‘no’.”
Jessie quit the soap in 2015 and recently starred in spin-off Redwater with her co-star Shane Richie.
She added: “I don’t miss being on EastEnders…not really. As an actor you like to move on and do other stuff. I don’t really miss it at all.”
