How old is David Dickinson and what is his net worth?
David Dickinson, 76, was born on August 16 1941 in Stockport, Cheshire, where he was adopted by a local couple.
His birth mother Eugenie was a member of an Armenian textile trading family and while David wrote to her in her later life, they never met.
Dickinson's adopted dad died when he was 12 and his mother worked hard to keep the family together.
Aged 14, David got an apprenticeship at an aircraft factory but left to follow his roots in the cloth trade.
However, when he was 19 he was found guilty of mail-order fraud.
He served three years of a four year sentence and spent the majority of it in Strangeways prison in Manchester.
After his time behind bars, he set up business again but the shop closed in 1991 and he turned his hand to antiques, selling 18th and 19th century furniture and works of art at prestigious fairs.
David is believed to be worth in the region of £2million thanks to his lucrative TV work.

David's telly career took off thanks to a chance meeting with a producer at a barbecue. This led to the BBC making a two-part documentary about him preparing for an antiques show at the Olympia.
He became a favourite among viewers thanks to his appearances as an antiques expert on This Morning and The Antiques Show on BBC Two.
David then landed his own game show called Bargain Hunt which cemented his status as a TV star.
He moved to ITV in 2006 to host a daily antiques show called Dickinson's Real Deal.
In 2010 he fronted his own chat show called the David Dickinson Show but it was axed after one series.
He's back in the limelight with a new antiques themed game show called David Dickinson's Name Your Price.
Speaking about his new show, he said: "This show is a classic gameshow with antiques thrown in. I scoured the country for really unusual and interesting items.
"I tell the story of the valuable item, along with a couple of made-up stories about some cheap-as-chips items. The contestants then have to guess the bobby dazzler from the duds to win a big cash prize."
He has also appeared on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Strictly Come Dancing.

David married his wife Lorne Lesley in 1968.
The couple met in a Manchester nightclub in the 60s when she was a cabaret singer and he was a struggling antiques dealer.
After they wed, David adopted her two children from a previous relationship, Robert and Katrina.
