Big Brother viewers SLAM Tom Barber for practical ‘joke’ that is deemed ‘sexually intimidating’
BIG Brother viewers were lift feeling sickened after watching scenes that were deemed ‘sexually intimidating’.
The shock scenes were aired on Sunday night’s highlights show and focused on a late night ‘prank’ that saw Tom Barber forcing a naked Lotan Carter on top of Savannah O’Reilly who was laying in her bed.
The boys were messing around in the dark, but then Tom pushed Lotan onto Savannah’s bed and then repositioned the Dreamboys stripper so his naked bum was near Savannah’s head.
Savannah was called to the Diary Room to discuss the incident with Big Brother.

“I mean they were just joking,” the Irish contestant said, at first dismissing the incident as nothing more than a joke.
“If anybody did it on purpose to put me in an uncomfortable position, like, obviously that would be a different story. But, like, neither of them were doing it, like, for that reason so… Boys being boys,” she said.
But then after a pause, she continued: “If I hadn’t been under the covers then it would have been a different story. But obviously I had the covers to protect me.”
She then added: “The weight of them on the two of me was the bit that I was screaming at them to get off me for”.
Big Brother also called Tom to the Diary Room to discuss the incident, with the Welshman immediately asking : “Am I in trouble?” as he sat down in the Diary Room chair.
Wasting no time, Big Brother cut to the chase and said: “Tom, before you entered the Big Brother house, the rules regarding unacceptable behaviour were explained to you.”
They continued: “Last night in the bedroom, when Lotan was naked, you pushed him on top of Savannah who was in her bed. You then turned Lotan around bodily so that his naked lower body was in close proximity to Savannah’s head.”
They added: “You persisted, despite Savannah and Lotan both telling you to stop.”
Big Brother then declared: “Tom, this is an example of unacceptable sexual intimidation and a gross invasion of another housemates personal space. You forced someone’s genitals into close proximity to another person apparently in an attempt at humour. You invaded both Savannah and Lotan’s personal space in a sexually forceful way.
“Big Brother thinks this was totally unacceptable and a serious breach of the Big Brother rules.”
Tom was then given a formal and final warning and threatened with ejection from the reality competition if he were to cross another line.
Kicking his feet during most of the time Big Brother reprimanded him, he added after being given his warning: “Everyone was laughing about it so… it wasn’t malicious or nothing like that.”
However viewers were left horrified by the incident and flooded Twitter with complaints.
“The whole "Boys being boys" mentality is the reason these boys think they can get away with anything. #bbuk,” one viewer tweeted.
“Don't make excuses for them! They've known Savannah 2 days & they're jumping on her naked. Nobody normal does that. #bbuk,” tweeted another.
Others slammed tom, with one tweeting: “Tom is an actual sicko, thats not even funny #BBUK” and another adding: “Omg Tom, just because people were laughing about it, it doesn't make it ok!!! Omg what is with these 'men' ??? #BBUK”.
The tone of the episode continued to be of a low level – with Lotan later ejected from the show following “threatening language” and “intimidating behaviour”.
