Coldplay frontman Chris Martin caught snogging pop beauty Dua Lipa backstage at Glastonbury
NEWLY single CHRIS MARTIN spent his time at Worthy Farm hooking up with DUA LIPA.
The COLDPLAY frontman, who recently split from Peaky Blinders actress ANNABELLE WALLIS, was caught snogging the pop beauty backstage in the VIP Winnebago area on Friday.
A source said: “Loads of people were around at the time and they were openly making out.
“Dua has been telling people she and Chris have texted a lot recently, but most of them assumed it was for work reasons.
“That excuse is out of the window now, though.
“They were certainly not kissing for work reasons — they looked pretty into each other.”
We have been hearing whispers about Chris’s split from Annabelle for a while, but his team has always refused to comment when we approached them.
Yesterday, however, our sources confirmed their romance — which began in 2015 — is officially over.
Chris, and Dua, worked together on a song called Homesick for her debut album earlier this year.
At the time, Dua said: “It was a really magical experience. Such a ‘pinch me’ moment to sit next to him by the piano, to hear and perform so closely with a voice I’ve heard on the radio my whole life.”
The collaboration came about after Dua said Chris was someone she’d love to work with and her team arranged for some tapes to be sent to him.
But now it seems the pair are more than just collaborators in the studio.
Chris and Dua now have the potential to become the hottest new power couple in pop.
But he had better be careful not to upset his new love interest, given she has a habit of turning her romance woes into song material.
We could end up looking at a sequel to Dua’s break-up anthem IDGAF (I Don’t Give A F***).
A spokesman for Chris last night denied the pair’s clinch, while Dua’s team declined to comment.

Cara cosy with ex Jack
WORTHY Farm is the place to reconnect with nature, friends and favourite bands.
And CARA DELEVINGNE, spent much of Friday night at Glasto cosying up to her actor ex JACK O’CONNELL.
They spent the evening partying at quirky on-site bar The Rabbit Hole.
An onlooker said: “Cara and Jack dated in 2014 but it was like nothing had changed.
"They kept hugging and were very close. At one point they went to the bar alone then to the dancefloor and even had a play fight.
“He seemed much keener than her, though, and her friends finally dragged her away and Jack turned his attention to three other girls but still didn’t have any luck.”
Always a charmer, eh Jack?
All eyes on Katy
KATY PERRY is more bubblegum pop than wildrock.
But that didn’t stop her diving into the audience to crowd surf at the end of her Pyramid Stage set.
She delivered an incredible hour-long performance yesterday evening, confetti-bombing the crowd, left, dressed as what we can only be describe as a cosmic girl scout, right. Her on-stage banter was on top form too.
She said: “There’s so many people here that I didn’t know still liked me. But I can see all of you. I can see you by the orange flags, by the hotels – that’s where you’re sleeping, right?”
Um, no, not quite.
Later on she admitted to a costume malfunction while dancing and joked about wanting to sleep with a crowd member thanks to his tan lines.
As well as her own bonkers outfit, Katy was joined by dancers dressed as flowers, tellies, pom-poms and giant red lips.
It sure beat RADIOHEAD’s dreary Pyramid Stage headline set on Friday.
Craig's in full cry
CRAIG DAVID had tears in his eyes as he performed to a packed crowd.
Introducing Rise And Fall, he said its “poignant” lyrics reflected his own career.
Afterwards Craig, told us: “I got very emotional – when you’re as low as I’ve been and then to see yourself looking out into that crowd, is incredible.”
He also won a new fan in KATY PERRY, who popped on stage to film him.
He said: “I’ve not met her but that was cool.
“I’ll need to catch up with her backstage and suggest a collaboration.
"Honestly I’m still pinching myself. Can I come back next year?”
It’s a yes from us.
WHILE everyone else emerged from their tents in rain macs, it seems MILLIE MACKINTOSH didn’t get the memo.
The ex-Made in Chelsea star ignored the weather completely and braved the fields in a fetching floral tea dress.
Credit where it’s due for not letting dismal forecast get in the way of her style choices.
Noel's thirst in line
NOEL GALLAGHER made the most of his only night at the festival without the fear of bumping into brother LIAM and sparking yet another row.
While he was happy to stoke the fire – telling fans who asked about Liam’s set to “go see Katy Perry instead” – he seemed more concerned with drinking.
Noel spent five hours straight in a backstage bar on Friday – and even we struggled to keep up.
He finally sloped off at 4am happy he’d lived up to his rock ’n’ roll credentials, before ending the night being refused entry to a VIP bash.
We’ll have to wait and see whether Liam can top that.
Foos back team Taylor
KATY PERRY might have opened for FOO FIGHTERS last night but DAVE GROHL said he was backing TAYLOR SWIFT in the pop pair’s bitter feud.
Ahead of their Pyramid Stage performance, the frontman told us: “Katy Perry is opening for us, Taylor Swift opened for us at Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
“Not that Katy is on Taylor’s level, mind . . .”
Laughing, he went on: “That was kind of a joke because they’ve been having problems.
“It’s been brutal, it’s been so good. But I always root for the quiet one. That’s how I roll.
“I love it when someone is all riled up about something, and the other one is, ‘Like whatever’.”
Drummer TAYLOR HAWKINS chipped in: “I’m on team catfight, I love a good catfight.
“Two chicks beating the s**t out of each other is way better than two guys doing it.”
Both Taylor and Katy have been suggested as the mystery collaborator on the latest Foo Fighters album Concrete And Gold after Dave teased they had teamed up with “the biggest pop star in the world”.
But Dave insisted neither star was involved.
He said: “If I was smart enough and wanted to sell more records, I should have asked them. But this is someone no one would expect in a million years.
“We also have SHAWN STOCKMAN from BOYZ II MEN on the heaviest song on the record and TAYLOR GREENWOOD is on there too.
“Next time around maybe we’ll go for politics.
“Wouldn’t it be so good if we got BARACK OBAMA?”
The band wowed millions last night as they belted out the hits in an explosive televised set.
But Dave and Taylor told us the party will really get going after they leave the stage.
Dave laughed: “Will I be running riot with a bottle of whisky?
“Yes. Rain or shine, it’s always a f***ing party.”
Theresa May - shut the door on your way out
No prizes for guessing who Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke voted for
Jammy Johnny's 5-Star yurt
JOHNNY DEPP boasted he was “down-to-earth” for attending Glastonbury – but we can reveal the Hollywood A-lister is staying in a palatial yurt.
In an exclusive chat, the actor, inset left, told us he had “pitched up a tent” so he could get stuck into the festivities.
But in reality he has been staying in pampered digs with food and wine delivered by aides so he doesn’t have to mingle with the masses.
He is even being chauffered from stage to stage.
We partied with Johnny on his first night at the festival and he was clearly on a mission to be crowned our Glasto Caner of the Year, downing double vodkas and cokes while smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette.
He was so drunk, he didn’t even react when a woman accused him of “beating up” ex-wife AMBER HEARD.
Maybe that’s why he wasn’t keen to roam the grounds of Worthy Farm – especially with his ex-wife’s former lover CARA DELEVINGNE on site.
We hear the model was “disgusted” he’d been invited.
BRADLEY COOPER admitted he was “s****ing himself” ahead of his surprise Glastonbury performance.
The actor, who did a similar stint on stage with LADY GAGA at Coachella in April, appeared on the Pyramid Stage to film scenes for his upcoming remake of A Star Is Born.
Chatting to us backstage, he said: “I love this festival. This is my fourth year in a row.”
Luckily Bradley got advice on how to calm his nerves before the performance – admitting his pal NOEL GALLAGHER had told him to “pretend you are me”.
THE sunshine may have vanished but MARGOT ROBBIE brightened the place up with her yellow mac.
She earlier posted pics of herself in a pair of multi-coloured wigs.
Presumably before going back to tick off the rest of the colours in the rainbow.
TOVE LO was on trend with glitter boobs.
Meanwhile, a reveller opted for a full-on glitter beard.
What is he on?
SCHEDULING clashes are every Glasto fans’ worst nightmare. This year there was LIAM GALLAGHER vs KATY PERRY, SOLANGE vs STORMZY and weirdest of all BUSTED vs JEREMY CORBYN.
MATT WILLIS joked about the head to head - the Labour leader was introducing RUN THE JEWELS on the Pyramid stage - while performing at the EE Garden party, quipping: “We’ll have a very blue crowd.”
Wife EMMA WILLIS, pictured with Emma, was on hand to support - thrilled that Big Brother switching their live eviction night from a Friday to a Thursday meant she could party for the whole weekend.
She said: “I just need to recover in time for next week’s show.”
