Who’s on The One Show tonight? Tracey Ullman joins Alex Jones and Jerry Springer plus Rita Ora performs Your Song
THE One Show is back tonight with two very powerful ladies appearing for a chat with the hosts.
Telly comedian and actress Tracey Ullman will be bringing the funnies, and Rita Ora will serenade us with a tune. Here’s the low-down on the show…
What’s happening on The One Show tonight?
On tonight’s show, the team are joined by TV sketch comic Tracey Ullman, who is the richest British female comedian and second richest British actress.
She will be discussing her new one-off TV show Tracey Breaks the News, which sees her impersonating Theresa May, Angela Merkel and Nicola Sturgeon, among other political figures.
Rita Ora will also appear on the show to discuss her involvement in Artists For Grenfell.
Later she will sing her new single Your Song ahead of the release of her second album.
What time is The One Show on?
Tune into BBC1 at 7pm on weeknights to watch the show.
Each night the presenters mix interviews with an array of celebrity guests with an eclectic mix of topics ranging from current affairs to pop culture.
It is then available on demand on the BBC iPlayer.
Who’s presenting The One Show tonight?
On tonight’s episode, Alex Jones and Jerry Springer will be taking on the hosting duties.
Alex returned ti the show just under a month ago after giving birth to her son, Teddy, in January.
Meanwhile Springer, who was born in England, is guest hosting the programme despite being more used to wild, Jeremy Kyle-style confrontations on his own show.
During her maternity leave, Alex was replaced by Michelle Ackerley and Angela Scanlon.
They are still working on the show during Alex’s days off.

Unfortunately, the One Show is not listed among the BBC shows you can apply for tickets for.

How long has The One Show been running?
The magazine style show has been running for over a decade. The first episode was aired on August 14 2006.
From 2007 to 2010 it was hosted by Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley, before Alex Jones and Jason Manford took the helm.
Chris Evans oversaw the Friday night hour-long episodes from 2010 to 2015.
The likes of Dermot O’Leary, Phil Tufnell, Zoe Ball and Fearne Cotton are among the guest presenters who have stood in for the regular duos.
