Hollyoaks’ Kieron Richardson and husband Carl Hyland admit they want to have more children and won’t rule out adoption
HOLLYOAKS star Kieron Richardson and husband Carl Hyland have admitted they would love to have more children and would be interested in adoption in the future.
The happy couple appeared on This Morning alongside Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes to discuss their new documentary, Raised By Queers.

But they opened up about their future plans as Kieron admitted: "We've got other embryos we could use in the future and it's possible we could think about adoption now."
Kieron and his husband announced that they had become parents to twins on May 22 2017.
In a sweet Twitter post, Kieron announced that the children’s names are Chase Hyland-Richardson and Phoebe Hyland-Richardson.

Speaking about their documentary, Eamonn commented that their choice of title had already caused strong reaction from the public.
And Kieran responded: "We chose to make the documentary, Raised By Queers, because we got a lot of negative comments on social media when we revealed we were starting a family.
"We just wanted to make something that would show how we are raising our kids."

He continued: "The title has shocked people but now it is LGBTQ( Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) so we are kind of reclaiming the word.
"The most iconic show in the 90s was called Queer As Folk. I'm not offended by it."
He added: "We're embracing it. If someone says I’m queer then... yes I am and I’m proud of that."

The couple previously had four failed attempts at IVF with a surrogate, before getting pregnant.
During the interview, Kieron's husband Carl explained: "For people who have a negative impression about gay parenting, we are in a great position to open their eyes.

"We spoke to gay couples who raised children in the 80s and also spoke to children who were raised by gay parents."
He continued: "There is still criticism online but you are going to get that in every walk of life these days. At the end of the day, people will always have their opinions on it."
The couple then revealed some of the day-to-day issues they face as gay fathers when they recalled their recent outing for Father's Day.

The pair explained how they received looks at a restaurant while carrying their twins before experiencing an awkward moment because the baby changing facilities were in the female toilets.
Kieran revealed that the toilets had to be closed especially for them to go in and change their babies' nappies.
