HOLLY Willoughby got the giggles on This Morning today as she and Phillip Schofield joked about "wet and windy" conditions during a weather report.

The pair presented a segment on today's predicted thunderstorms and both struggled to keep a straight face.

They were talking about the recent heatwave coming to and end and asked viewers to send in reports from their local area.

Holly  declared: "We need a wind update" and Phil chimed in saying: "Actually I think that's quite localised."

Phil also set Holly off laughing when he gave her a sly smile as he revealed it is "wet in Wigan!"

The pair's latest onscreen antics come just days after Holly made a saucy gag about damp sheets.

The TV host was talking about tips for getting to sleep in the heat wave when she burst out laughing.

Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield were discussing the soaring temperatures in Britain this week and pointed out that many shops have sold out of fans.

They offered up a This Morning money-saving trick which involved putting bed sheets in the freezer.

Phil then declared it might be a good idea to dampen them with water for extra cooling and Holly chimed in with a saucy response, saying: "The only time a damp sheet is acceptable."

The TV host burst into laughter and struggled to contain herself.

She was visibly trying to stifle her guffaws as they finished up and crossed to the next link.

TV presenter Steve Wilson, who was co-hosting the segment, then laughed: "I just realised what you said!"
