Love Island’s Jessica Shears admits she will dump Dom Lever if he gets close to someone else
They promised to stay together after she was voted out but Jess won’t be taken for a fool
DOMINIC Lever was devastated when Jessica Shears was kicked out of Love Island – dropping to his knees and struggling to hold in his tears when her name was called.
The pair vowed to stay together but, speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Jessica admitted she won’t hesitate to dump Dom if he cheats on her in the villa.
Jessica said: “If he finds someone else then that’s that.
“I want him to have a good time in there but I don’t think he’ll connect to anyone else anytime soon because we have two whole weeks in there as a couple and we made such a good connection.
“If he does connect with someone else then that’s how it is. It will be hard to see him move on.”
Since finding love with Dom in the villa, the pair had been inseparable and Jess made it clear she thinks their relationship could go the distance.
She explained: “It feels like I’ve lost out on the chance to keep going with Dom in there because we had we had become so close in such a short time.
“And there were conversations we were having about what was coming for us in the next two weeks, let alone the next seven weeks…
“Mine and Dom’s relationship was just sexual [but] it was also an intellectual and emotional bond.
“Olivia said to me as I left, ‘No matter what you’ve won. You’ve got an amazing guy and you’ve best friend for life.’
“I have already won even if I came out early. I’ve come out with more than I could have ever expected. I don’t feel remorseful or regret anything that happened.”
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
