HOLLY Willoughby made a cheeky joke about "debagging" her co-host Phillip Schofield during Wednesday's episode of This Morning.
The morning show presenters started the episode with a beekeeping segment when Phillip reminded viewers he was "seriously allergic" to stings.
He explained: "We have paramedics there to help because I am severely allergic to bee and wasp stings."
Holly then quipped: "I’ve been debriefed and I know what to do. It needs to go in the butt cheek and it doesn’t go through clothes so you need a full debagging."
The pair then giggled at the comment before Phillip replied: "You have to debag me, full on in the cheek. Actually, go for my thigh?"
Producers installed an apiary on the roof of the TV studio and the bees have been working to produce honey.
Fan took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the scenario: "ah debag the schofe #ThisMorning."
Another added: "So, @Schofe is highly allergic to bees... and what does he do? Go and mess around with two bee hives. Crazy man. #ThisMorning."
One tweeted: "Wow @hollywills & @Schofe you are two brave cookies oh my I couldn't stand there with all the suit or not! @thismorning #ThisMorning."
Phillip opened up about the level of his allergy during an interview with last year.
The host revealed he has suffered several stings in recent years and the reaction has been getting “progressively worse”.
He collapsed the last time he suffered a sting, and jokes that the show’s producers are plotting to kill him.
Phil added: “The last time I was stung I reacted very badly – I fell over and shook a lot.
“I was told the reaction can increase in severity each time I get stung, so to invite me back to the show and then attempt to kill me with bees is an intriguing idea.”
