ACTRESS Sheridan Smith has pulled out of musical Funny Girl after contracting the mumps.
The actress, 35, was forced to abandon the tour as a precaution.
She will be replaced in the lead role of Fanny Bryce by Natasha Barnes.
Funny Girl, which tours till August, is on a seven-date run at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend, Essex.
The theatre said: “Everyone wishes her a speedy recovery.”
Sheridan took two months off from Funny Girl with “stress and exhaustion” last summer.
It followed reports she appeared drunk on stage.
