Gordon donned a slim-fit t-shirt that paid tribute to his new home in the USA. He completed his casual look with beige cargo shorts, sunglasses and an eye-catching yellow baseball cap.

Matilda matched her father's casual dress code in black shorts and a white t-shirt that also reflected their American home.

Famous for his foul-mouthed honesty in the kitchen, Gordon looked relaxed as he splashed the cash in sunny Los Angeles.

Gordon recently revealed how he makes his children fly in economy class as they "don't need a f*****g ten course menu."

The chef, 50, told : I have got to keep it real with the kids, and also I think just getting kids at the age of five, six and seven, used to first class and those big seats, they do not need the space, they get entertainment on their iPads.

“So I like to think about what you can do with the money when you land, rather than paying out thousands of dollars for eight, nine ten-year-olds to sit in First Class.”

“I do not want them sat there with a 10 course f*****g menu with champagne.”

Gordon shocked again when he announced his multi-million fortune won't be left for his children.

The TV star, who has Matilda, 15, Jack and Holly, 17, and Megan, 18, with wife Tana, 42, joins a number of mega-rich dads including Bill Gates and Simon Cowell who have chosen not to leave their wealth to their offspring.

Speaking to , Gordon, who according to reports has an estimated net worth of around £113million, said his children will have to make their own way in life.

“It’s definitely not going to them, and that’s not in a mean way; it’s to not spoil them,” he said.

“The only thing I’ve agreed with Tana is that they get a 25 per cent deposit on a flat, but not the whole flat.”
