Who's in the cast of Age Before Beauty with Robson Green?

The drama features Loose Women panellist Lisa Riley, who looks almost unrecognisable in the edgy get up for her character - a tattoo artist named Tina.

They are also joined by other famous faces; Royle Family and Downton Abbey star Sue Johnston, Polly Walker from Mr Selfridge’s and James Murray.

Sue plays an eccentric spray tan technician called Ivy-Rae.

Polly plays a homemaker called Bel. She has spent the last 18 years raising her and Wesley's (Murray) twins and is left with a void when they leave for university.

Teddy- the salon’s wannabe saviour played by Robson - is her best friend and convinces her they can save the failing business together.

What is BBC One’s Age Before Beauty about?

Set in a family-run beauty salon in Manchester, the show is about a long-running family feud.

The drama follows the lives and loves of the family members and salon workers, as they deal with hostile rivalries while struggling to keep the salon afloat.

In the opening episode, Bel (played by Polly Walker) arrives at her new job at a salon just as a chair is thrown out of the door.
