Love Island’s Chris Hughes is unrecognisable in throwback picture taken when he was at school
CHRIS Hughes might have outraged Love Island viewers with his obnoxious attitude, but once he just was an adorable little child with a charming cheeky grin.
In long forgotten photos found on social media, the hunky farmer shows he wasn't born groomed, tanned and toned.
A primary school photo shared on Twitter show a cute little lad with a butter wouldn't melt smile.
Other pictures show him in secondary school, learning how to woo and charm the ladies as he cuddles female pals for photos.
The 22-year-old singleton has made quite the impression since arriving in the ITV2 villa last week, and last night compared himself to both a polar bear and lamented to himself that every woman in the show fancied him.
He’s spent the majority of his time in the villa smooching with Chloe Crowhurst, however, he told new girl Gabby Allen that he didn’t like her “fake look” and doesn’t fancy her at all.
Chris couldn’t resist boasting of his status as prize catch while on a date with Tyne-Lexy.
He shamelessly told her: “There’s so many people in here. There’s six girls in here. That makes me feel uncomfortable. I would rather only one person liked me.”
Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum was Camilla Thurlow, who was praised by viewers for putting Chris in his place over the way he spoke about Chloe.
Viewers were unimpressed, with one writing: “Chris from @LoveIsland is a snake. He’s so full of s**t #d**khead #loveshimself #loveisland”
Another said: “@LoveIsland chris is such a d**k! totally used chloe to stay in! loves himself more then he could love anyone else! so unattractive!”
But while he’s busy chatting up the ladies in the luxury mansion, Chris previously opened up about overcoming “sickening” anxiety and panic attacks.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Hopefully this may help certain people who’ll relate: It was about May 2013 when I finally overcame anxiety and panic attacks, most sickening months of my life where you never know what your you’re guna do.
“And it wasn’t until my mum knew and I spoke out about it I could sort things out.
“It hit me again summer just gone but I knew from the breathing techniques, imagery and everything else I was taught, getting over it wasn’t an issue.
“Took time and money but it was the best I ever spent."
