Love Island’s Sam Gowland is involved in furious bust up with Chris Hughes
The confrontation was teased at the end of tonight's show
LOVE Island's Sam Gowland and Chris Hughes squared up to one another in a very heated confrontation in the luxury villa.
In scenes to be shown tomorrow, the two lads need to be separated as they go head to head in the garden area.
Things have been civil so far in the house, however, the atmosphere takes a dark turn as the two lads clash over Olivia Attwood.
In tonight's episode, Olivia told Sam that they should take a step back from their short-lived coupling.
She said: “We need to clear the air don’t we? How do you feel? I feel that I’ve pulled away and I feel proper distant from you because we started off as really good friends, so we were together all the time.
“Since I’ve felt these feelings it’s making me not want to be around you at all. Something’s not right but I can’t put my finger on what it is.
“You haven’t done anything. You’re one of the best boys in this house and you’ve got a heart of gold.
“It’s not you it is me. I’m looking for something, and I don’t know what it is. You’re irritating me but you’re not doing anything wrong.”
And she made no secret of the fact that she fancies Chris, despite referring to him as a "weirdo".
In the fiery clip from tomorrow's episode, Olivia can be seen telling Chris: "Use your brain, he doesn't want you and me to get together because he wants to be with me."
Standing by the fire pit, Sam can be seen angrily telling Chris that he won't be happy if he's done anything sly.
When Chris says, "like what?", Sam lunges for him and replies: "I'm f***ing" telling you aren't I?" as the other lads hold him back.
Inside the house, Montana and Olivia can then be seen having a screaming argument.
