Binky Felstead’s joy as she gives birth to first Made in Chelsea baby with fellow star Josh ‘JP’ Patterson
Made In Chelsea star has welcomed her daughter into the world
BINKY Felstead has given birth to a baby girl.
The Made In Chelsea star’s partner Josh Patterson announced the news on his Instagram page.
Sharing a picture of his hand cradling the baby’s tiny fingers, he wrote: “I’m a daddy!”
Binky and Josh revealed they were expecting their first child earlier this year.
The couple have yet to reveal the name for their little girl, but their co-star Ryan Libbey recently revealed the couple had been forced to make a last minute change after finding out their favourite moniker had been taken.
Ryan said: "They did have a name in mind for the baby but then they realised that someone else in the public eye just had a baby called the same name.
"It was someone from The Only Way is Essex or something like that, I can't remember but the baby was called India ...
"They've gone against it purely, because someone's beat them to it. Which I don't know, I don't know if that's just like reasons why you shouldn't but ..."
Their baby shower was filmed for Made In Chelsea and will feature on the upcoming series.
Earlier this month Binky revealed she was leaving the show to concentrate on being a mum.
Saying her goodbyes to her fans after six years on the E4 series, Binky promised she would return for cameo appearances.
She explained: "It's been my second family and I will deffo be back to do the odd bits and bobs on it I'm sure in the future, but now I feel my time has come to a natural end seeing as the next big (grown up) chapter of my life is about to begin!
"I'm not going away though, u can still follow my personal journey if ya wanna... so keep your eyes peeled for what's coming up!"
The two part E4 show will follow the last stages of Binky's pregnancy and document how she and JP, 27, adapt to parenthood after their daughter's arrival.
Binky said of the show: "There won't be cameras in the delivery suite. We don't want to overexpose the baby."
A TV insider added: "Binky's pregnancy came like a bolt from the blue for Made in Chelsea fans and they've been desperate for more info ever since.
"A whole show dedicated to her and JP's journey is bound to be a hit."
