Ferne McCann opens up on the devastation of having the life she had planned blown apart in ‘a matter of moments’ by acid attack arrest of bad boy boyfriend
FERNE McCann has opened up about the emotional roller coaster she endured since falling pregnant and then discovering the father of her child was accused of a violent club attack.
The 26-year-old revealed in April that she had fallen pregnant.
However the news came within the hours surrounding her then-boyfriend Arthur Collins, 24, being arrested by police in connection with a violent acid attack in London.
In a new , the star addresses her recent emotional roller coaster publicly for the first time and said she is keeping positive – yet there are times she breaks down in tears.
Maintaining she will bring her baby up as a single mum, she referred to her recent relationship turmoil and revealed: "Initially I was devastated.
"What I had planned and was getting excited about had disappeared in a matter of moments.
"It was so hard to deal with what happened but then I realised it was not about me but about my child.
"I'll do my best for my baby."

She added her hormones have been affecting her emotions but vowed: "I never feel lonely as I have my baby."
Indeed, Ferne admits talking about her feelings almost set her off.
She confessed: "Just sitting here talking about it makes me feel emotional, just contemplating what a life-changing experience I’ve been through. I have shed tears, but I always try to keep it to myself."
The bubbly TV star added: "But because of the situation I’m in, I have tried to keep those moments to myself.
"I could burst into tears right now."
During the conversation, Ferne also revealed her due date is in November.
