Stephanie Davis DENIES insulting Jeremy McConnell’s dead parents in latest fiery row
Pals of the couple believe their turbulent romance is now over permanently
STEPHANIE Davis has DENIED that she insulted Jeremy McConnell's dead parents.
The 24-year-old was accused of "slagging off" her on-off boyfriend's mum and dad during a huge row over the weekend.
But pals of the ex-Hollyoaks star and her troubled baby-daddy claim she would never say such hurtful things.
One told The Sun Online: "Stephanie is distraught that Jeremy could claim such things about her.
"All she has done is stand by Jeremy through his ups and downs, welcoming him back into her home when he left rehab.
"For him to then claim she spoke badly of his dead parents is such a low blow."
Things kicked off afresh between the pair in the early hours of Sunday when the 27-year-old male model tweeted that Steph was "dead to him" after she "cut up his clothes" and insulted his dead mum and dad.
The tattooed hunk also branded his on/off girlfriend “manipulative as f***” as he slammed her for allegedly taking a pair of scissors to his clothes in a major meltdown.
In the tweet, which has since been deleted, he wrote: “Cuts up my whole wardrobe slags my dead parents that girl is dead to me manipulative f*** . #over.”

The rant was enough to spark Steph's mum Pauline to tweet that he was a "s***tbag".
Their latest row comes days after their romance hit a new low after Jeremy's ex told a magazine that he was only with Steph to guarantee access to their infant son.
Her comments triggered a chain of events that have left friends of the couple believing their turbulent romance is over permanently.
Last week, reported that Steph told pals Jeremy went missing for two days.
The friend said: "Everyone is concerned for him, even though they're not together Steph just wants what is best for him.
"Jeremy's friends and family have know that Steph was good for him and that he has blown his chances with her."
The troubled reality star, who met Stephanie on the January 2016 series of Celebrity Big Brother, is currently in his native Ireland.
He tweeted that he had gone to see loved ones in Dublin.
Reps for Stephanie Davis were unavailable for comment. Reps for Jeremy McConnell declined to comment.
