RYLAN Clark-Neal was cut off by This Morning producers as he began a fangirl style outburst about Spice Girl Geri Horner.
The showbiz correspondent had been revealing his excitement about Geri's return to music after The Sun's Dan Wootton broke the news she is releasing a solo single.
Rylan made it clear that he was thrilled to get new material from Geri as he said: "I'm just over the moon. I was always ginger spice when I was younger."
He continued: "It's made my whole week. I've waited my whole life for Geri to make the comeback.
"I'm sorry, it's Geri everyone. Why isn't anyone excited? Love you girl."
However, he then returned to the topic minutes later as he said: "Now back to Geri, I just want to say I absolutely love Geri Halliwell."
As music began to play, he shouted: "No, stop the music. No, cut the music because I love Geri."
He continued: "I do love Geri. You can turn it up all you want."
"Hey, I'm talking about Geri. I just want to thank my friends and family..."
Holly Willoughby could be seen hitting him with one of the cushions from the sofa as the show cut away to go on an advert break.
Geri revealed that the death of her close friend George Michael inspired her return to her successful solo career.
Ginger Spice will release her track Angels In Chains on June 23, two days before what would have been George’s 54th birthday.
She spent six months secretly working on the song with members of George’s musical family, including his famed backing singer Shirley Lewis and producer Chris Porter.
