Liam Payne planning large chest tattoo to mark becoming a dad to son Bear with long-term girlfriend Cheryl
WHEN ED SHEERAN sold out a huge run of shows at Wembley Stadium, he got a massive lion inked on his chest.
And LIAM PAYNE wants a similar-sized tattoo for what he says is his greatest success – becoming a dad to son Bear with girlfriend CHERYL.
Having already got a rose on his hand to match the tat on Cheryl’s rear, he said: “I love getting tattoos.
“I haven’t decided what yet but I’ll make it a surprise. I’ve got to do my chest next, which is going to really hurt.”
After solo debut Strip That Down came out last month, Liam is getting set to release the follow-up featuring producer Zedd.

Niall praises Ariana's pose
ARIANA GRANDE was a vision of strength when she performed at her inspiring One Love Manchester concert – just a fortnight after 22 people were killed leaving her show in the city.
But NIALL HORAN, posing here for the new issue of Notion magazine, has revealed they had an emotional meeting before going on stage.
In an exclusive chat, Niall, who also performed, said: “The first thing I did when I arrived – I went in to see her.
I was trying to see how she was feeling.
She was nervous and excited and telling stories about how she’d met the victims and their families and been to the hospital.
“After that the whole day was just a mix of emotions.”
You can say that again.

The pair were seen clapping along as JOHN CLANCY performed on the Jack Rocks stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, backing new UK talent.
Kooking up a plan for chiefs merger
IT HAS been nearly four years since I revealed that McFLY and BUSTED were to merge and become McBUSTED.
But clearly the news is still fresh in the memory, as there’s another supergroup in the offing.
In an unlikely move, I can reveal that THE KOOKS, and KAISER CHIEFS are planning to join forces and start a band called THE CHIEF KOOKS.
Kooks’ frontman LUKE PRITCHARD said: “We have this idea of merging bands.
“We want Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks to merge and do an album together – sort of like McBusted. I mean we’re floating around ideas, at the moment it’s The Chief Kooks.
“We’re going to chat it over with RICKY WILSON.”
And it turns out Ricky, who was a judge on The Voice, is fully on-board with the idea.
The Kaiser Chiefs singer said: “I’ve met many people from many bands and they’re all pretty nice – even the ones who you don’t think are going to be nice.
“We need to work on the name but I think it would be great. I really like The Kooks – I went for Sunday lunch with one of them last week.”
That lunch bill would be significantly bigger if all nine of the bands’ members come on-board.

Partner in grime to crack it for Guetta
DAVID GUETTA has worked with plenty of huge stars but it’s him doing all the chasing for his next collaboration in a bid to crack the UK grime scene.
Speaking backstage at Isle of Wight Festival before his headline set on Friday night, he said: “I have been trying to sort out something with STORMZY.
“I love Stormzy, he’s great. I’ve always worked with American rappers but I’ve never worked with UK grime artists so hopefully that’s something we’ll sort.”
French DJ David wasn’t quite so keen to work with ONE DIRECTION in their heyday though, as he revealed he turned them down on multiple occasions. He said: “In Vegas – they would always be there.
“It was almost becoming like a joke because they would always hang out at the club trying to get a collaboration with me.”
At least buy him a drink . . .
Henry's back on song
FOR years THIERRY HENRY had thousands singing in his direction when he was playing football.
And it must have rubbed off as the former Arsenal striker has been getting vocal lessons from rock star pal SHARLEEN SPITERI.
The TEXAS singer said Sky Sports pundit Thierry – who starred in the band’s music video for Let’s Work It Out this year – is music mad.
In an exclusive interview Sharleen said: “Sometimes I educate him and teach him singing and sometimes he educates me on music.
The last time we were together he was teaching me all about this music called Begin and it’s so good.
“It’s like a jazz music and it’s an amazing sound.”
Rita's net gain
RITA ORA’s new single Your Song is already shaping up to be one of the summer’s biggest tunes.
And it sounds like there is plenty more like that to look forward to later this year.
Rita said: “I have 100 per cent confidence in my music but you can’t control what people are going to love and what people aren’t going to love, and I can only just hope they like it.
“But the experience of making it was one I will never forget.”
She was snapped in a sexy fishnet top filming the video for the ED SHEERAN-penned single in Vancouver on the weekend, which is sure to propel it up the charts even further after it reached a high of No13 on Friday.
Rita premiered two other tracks, Girls and Summer Love, a fortnight ago.
This album is shaping up to be a belter.
