The impatient presenter mocked the all-women's panel long introduction to their show during This Morning segment

PHILLIP Schofield showed off his impatient side on today’s This Morning after declaring he wanted Ruth Langsford to “shut up”.

The long-running TV show favourite and Holly Willoughby had cut to the Loose Women team during their show so they could reveal what was happening later on.

The jokey presenter said that they were taking so long he wanted the team to shut up

After Ruth, who was leading the team including Katie Price, Janet Street Porter, finished introducing the day’s show, the cameras cut back to Phillip – who was clearly itching to continue the day’s show.

He bluntly told them: “Gracious you’ve told us the whole show! That took you a whole two minutes! I’m standing here shouting ‘shut up!’”

Ruth then slyly replied: “I was giving you time to sober up, Phillip!”

Ruth responded she wanted to give Phillip time to sober up after a gin tasting

As Holly giggled next to him, he appeared to withhold himself from swearing as he said: “No, you’re fff…..fine. Thank you very much, you crack on!”

The playful banter with Ruth came moments after Phillip’s co-star Holly dropped to the floor in a fit of giggles in a bid to stop herself “wetting her pants”.

The giggly pair took the banter in good spirits after of the rest of the show

The TV presenter started laughing while presenting a link and attempted to duck out of the shot by curling up on the ground.

This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield burst out laughing himself and told viewers Holly was bent double in a bid to avoid an embarrassing accident.

Holly bent over and shielded her face with her hair as she attempted to calm herself down before telling Phil: "You're not helping!"

She finally managed to pull herself together and stand up, saying: "I'm back, I'm back!" as her co-host begged producers to cut away.
