Who is Jayne Middlemiss?

Jayne Middlemiss won over viewers during the original run of the show in 2005, which featured a host of celebrities including Calum Best, Liz McLarnon and Rebecca Loos.

During the series, audiences were left gripped as they watched the former model fall hard for fellow contestant and former Manchester United footballer Lee Sharpe.

But Jayne was left heartbroken when he confessed his affection for fellow Love Island competitor Abi Titmuss.

The night before the final, the emotional lass confronted Lee, asking him: “How come you fell for Abi then?”

She later told him: “I’ll always be grateful to you for binning me off on national TV.”

But at least the public loved her, as she went on to take the Love Island crown along with Irish nightclub owner and former Westlife bodyguard Fran Cosgrave.
