Rachel Riley bursts out laughing as she spells out ‘VAGINAS’ on Countdown
The seven letter word won the round and prompted chuckles from the audience
RACHEL Riley couldn't help but laugh when a Countdown contestant spelled out "vaginas" on today's show.
The numbers whizz appeared to sense the the word was coming as she plucked a mixture of vowels and consonants at the behest of one of the contestants.
After the famous clock struck the 30 second mark, host Nick Hewer asked the contestants to give their best word, with the seven letter vaginas triumphing over visage to win the round.
Nick asked Dictionary Corner if they could better it, to which guest Jimmy Osmond said: "I think that about does it."
This caused Rachel and the audience to burst out laughing as the camera cut away to show the word in all its glory on the board.
He added: "We have saving... not nearly as interesting."
Remaining straight-faced, Nick quickly said: "I think we're happy enough now we'll move on."

Back in April Rachel had to spell out “squirter” when it was proposed over the players’ suggestions of “squirt” and “squire”.
Susie Dent’s guest Adam Henson said: “With squirt you could have gone squirter”.
Susie then quickly interjected: “Like a water pistol, for example.”
Rachel later went on to share a picture of the word on Twitter, alongside the caption:
“Nothing to see here #waterpistols.”
Fans of Countdown were quick to comment on the post, one joked: “such filth!”.
Another added: “You owe me a mouthful of coffee and a new monitor!”.
While someone else simply stated: “flirt”
But this is not the first time Rachel’s been left squirming.
In March she couldn’t contain her laughter as eight-letter word VIBRATOR came up on the show.
And last year Rachel had to deal with a similarly awkward selection of letters.
At the time, the presenter didn’t seem to realise the rude word hidden in the selection of C, L, I, T, E, A, S and D – but later when she looked on Twitter it dawned on her.
She wrote: “I was wondering why I’d had so many tweets this afternoon… mystery solved!”
