New Order star Peter Hook reveals his daughter was TRAMPLED and needed crutches after being caught up in the Manchester bombing
The musician opened up about his daughter's ordeal during the Manchester attack
MUSICIAN Peter Hook has opened up for the first time about his daughter's experience during the tragic Manchester terror last month.
The New Order star spoke to BBC presenters Ore Oduba and Sara Cox ahead of Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert today.
When asked about his daughter, Peter said: "My daughter was at the Ariana Grande on Monday. We got the call immediately from her to say luckily she managed to get out.
"She was trampled and she ended up in hospital on crutches for a short while. She's okay now.
He continued: "We've been working through the week and it's been awful to see everything."
The 61-year-old continued: "She spent the whole night watching footage and then the second night we had to turn it off because she was started to get a bit obsessed.
"But she's much better now and she's sat right out there. It's a wonderful of showing that we're standing together and we're going to work together to beat everything that is thrown at us."
