TOWIE'S James 'Arg' Argent has posted an intense video of his gruelling gym workout as he boasts that weight is "falling off him" thanks to his hard work.

The former party animal, 29, has slimmed down massively since going to Thai rehab to beat his demons and is now honing his physique through brutal gym sessions.

His latest Instagram video shows him lifting weights, sprinting on a treadmill and doing resistance training during what he calls "Chest Day".

Lydia Bright's ex, who is now taking part in Celebs Go Dating, clearly takes his body goals seriously.

But in his caption he admitted he doesn't know whether to feel "happy or scared" that his gym trainer is about to take him into "phase two".

Arg wrote: "Another hard week of training complete & the weight is falling off!

"Can't remember the last time I felt this good...

"@coachmitchbaldock has just informed me that phase 2 starts this week.

"Not sure if I should be happy or scared 🙈😂😂 i #fitness #lifestylechange#hardwork #dedication."

Still, Essex lad Arg is in good form as he recently took part in a charity football match and also brushed up well for a date with a mystery woman.

But he's also got back in touch with old flame Lydia, who he broke up with for good last year, hinting romance between them may be back on the cards.

However, she has now quit Towie amid claims she now longer wished to star alongside Arg, who has been ushered back to the show by pals after secretly sleeping with Gemma Collins and Lydia on the same day.
