ROLLING Stones legend Ronnie Wood proves he’s still rock‘n’roll by celebrating his 70th birthday with a lavish house party — as his ex wife brands him “tough as old boots.”
The guitarist, who recently had an operation to remove a small lesion on his lung, partied until the early hours on Thursday at a lavish West London mansion with wife Sally Humphreys, 39, and a host of celebrity pals, including bandmate Keith Richards, 73, singer Bob Geldof, 65, Spice Girl Geri Horner, 44 and Ron’s daughter-in-law Fearne Cotton, 35
He left with a car boot full of cards and presents.
Ronnie’s ex wife Jo Wood, 62, who was married to the rocker for 26 years and has two children with him, insisted Ronnie is back on top form after his keyhole surgery.
In an exclusive interview, she told The Sun: “Ronnie will bounce back. He’s as tough as old boots and completely fine now. It was just a minor thing. He’s got to be back on it as he’s going on tour with the band.”
Ronnie has packed in his smoking habit since his twins Alice and Gracie, with theatre producer wife Sally, were born last year.
The Sun revealed how he had instead switched to e-cigarettes — to the horror of his hard-partying bandmate Keith Richards.
