But, who is he, what has his character Aaron Dingle been through so far and was he nominated for an NTA? Here's the lowdown...
Who is Danny Miller?
Danny Miller is an actor best known for playing Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale.
He is 27-years-old having been born on January 2, 1991, in Stockport.
His first role on telly was in 2007 as the BBC children's show Grange Hill's Kyle Brown.
Later, in 2012, he starred as Prince Charming in the Pantomime Cinderella at Blackpool's Grand Theatre.
Danny's Emmerdale career began in 2008 with him playing Aaron Livesy.
However, the talented actor decided to leave the soap in 2011 and his last appearance on the show was in 2012.
In the following years, Danny appeared in ITV drama Lightfields in 2013, played William in BBC's Jamaica Inn in 2014 and joined the cast of Scott & Bailey until his departure in 2014.
The star decided to make a return to Emmerdale in 2014 as his former character Aaron and has been on the show ever since.
He has won numerous awards throughout his career including Inside Soap Awards' Best Actor, TV Times Awards' Favourite Newcomer, and British Soap Awards' Best Actor.
Who is Danny's character Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale?
Aaron Dingle is the son of Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) and Gordon Livesy (portrayed by Gary Mavers) and has had some incredibly hard-hitting storylines ever since he arrived on the soap.
From coming in terms with his homosexuality to being involved with the criminal McFarlane family, Aaron has experienced it all.
He first appeared in the Dales when he was arrested by Paddy Kirk's (Dominic Brunt) cousin Ross (Samuel Anderson) for possession of drugs.
He later ran away from home and Chas' family went to visit his dad Gordon and Sandra, who told them that they had thrown him out for hitting Sandra.
He then left the Dales for France in 2012 before returning in 2014, with his exit storyline seeing him being accused of arson.
When he returned to Emmerdale in 2014, it was to help best friend Adam, who became involved in a robbery with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth).
Aaron later started a chop shop with Ross - which is how he met Robert Sudgen (Ryan Hawley).
After finding out that Aaron was gay, Robert (who was engaged to Chrissie White) called him and claimed his car had broken down in a ploy to get him alone.
They ended up passionately kissing and later becoming embroiled in an affair - and resulted in the beginning of "Robron".
Since his return, Danny has also self-harmed, revealing that his dad sexually abused him as a child, reunited with his estranged half-sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) and was sent to prison.
On February 21, 2018 Danny confirmed on This Morning that Aaron and Robert WILL get married.
The big day that will see the beloved couple tie the knot will happen on Friday, October 5, 2018.
What NTA was Danny up for?
Danny was up for a gong at this year's National Television Awards.
He was nominated for Best Serial Drama Performance.
Unfortunately, he lost out to Corrie star Lucy Fallon.
This wasn't his first NTA nomination, as he was nominated in the same category in 2017, 2011, and 2010.
