The Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls lineup confirmed with new couple Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh joined by Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton and Olympian Sharron Davies

LUCY Mecklenburgh is among the famous names taking part in the latest series of The Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.

The Sun previously revealed the former TOWIE star and her rumoured love interest Corrie actor Ryan Thomas would be participating in the show and now the full list of contestants has been revealed by Channel 4.

Fitness fans Lucy and Ryan, Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte and Olympian-turned-TV presenter Sharron Davies have all been confirmed for the show.

Former Pussycat Doll singer Melody Thornton and Olympic sprinter-turned-broadcaster Iwan Thomas will also be taking part.

Rizzle Kicks rapper Jordan Stephens, comedian Mark Watson, comedian and writer Shazia Mirza and TV doctor Sara Kayat complete the line-up.

The ten fearless celebrities will bravely endure four weeks surviving in one of the toughest environments on earth.

The star give up their fancy showbiz lifestyles, leaving behind their friends, family, mobile phones and social media accounts.

Instead the famous faces make a remote and uninhabited island their home and face the many challenges that come with it.

All they will have are the clothes on their back, basic tools, medical supplies, enough water to last them for 24 hours and each other; the aim of the game is simply to survive.

Contestants have already been filming for the show in Panama and will capture the action from their time on The Island themselves.

They are also joined by five embedded crew who will live alongside them in exactly the same conditions to help document the highs and lows of the month.

The Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls will return to screens on Channel 4 later this year.
