THIS Morning viewers were left fuming earlier today after Eamonn Holmes shushed his wife Ruth Langsford live on air.
The pair had been speaking to Travel Editor Simon Calder about the right an airline had to kick someone or a group of people off a plane when Eamonn told Ruth to be quiet.
This came as they spoke about the 18-strong hen do thrown off a Jet2 flight to Magaluf because their "B*****s on tour" T-shirts were "too offensive".
Simon had said that the airline had a right to kick the hen party off the plane.
Eamonn remarked: "OK, so you're pretty strong on that view on that one then Simon?"
Ruth went to ask him a question, but Eamonn put his hand up and she stopped.
He said: "Let him answer."
Viewers were shocked by Eamonn's shushing, with some joking he would be "on the couch" tonight.
