Geri Horner does hilarious Geordie impression after having lessons from Ant and Dec

Geri, 44, hasn't quite mastered the Newcastle accent just yet despite having tuition from the city's most famous duo

GERI Horner is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, actress, author and activist - but mastering the Geordie accent is one thing she's not yet managed.

The Spice Girl decided to share her hilarious attempt after receiving tuition from Newcastle's most famous faces, Ant & Dec.

In the short video, Geri tells her fans: "If you want to learn how to speak in a Geordie accent, two very well known Geordie lads taught me this line."

She then proceeds to attempt the phrase "Jean Paul Gautier broke the photocopier machine" in the Geordie dialect.

Geri and F1 boss Christian Horner had been spending time with Ant, Dec while in Monaco where she was attending the Monaco Grand Prix with husband Christian Horner.

Geri is no stranger to stretching her acting muscles having previously landed a cameo role in Sex And The City and defining many a childhood with her iconic turn in Spiceworld.

Geri, 44, took to Instagram earlier in the week to share a snap from her dinner date with the Geordie duo.

She captioned the group picture: "Saturday night out with @AntAndDecOfficial @ChristianHornerOfficial" as the six pals posed for the camera.

Geri rose to fame as part of the Spice Girls in 1996 and has recently been promising that the iconic girlgroup will reunite in the “near future.”

It’s reported that the comeback is once again in the motions after Mel B has split from Stephen Belafonte.

Speaking about the Spice revival, Geri said earlier this year: “We’re not reforming immediately, but in the near future.”

Geri recently gave her fans a dose of '90s nostalgia by recreating the Spice Girls’ iconic Wannabe music video.

In the video Geri teases fans saying “remember this?” before dashing up the steps to recreate her dance moves from the 1996 video and busting out a “zig-a-zig-ah.”

Geri captioned the video: “Remember this!!!” before tagging in her fellow Spice Girls – Melanie C, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Mel B.
