BRITAIN’S Got Talent got off to another false start tonight when first act Destiny Chukunyere’s performance was delayed.

The Maltese teen opened the show, but like last night with the St. Patrick’s Children’s Choir, Ant and Dec were left telling the audience that the act wasn’t quite ready to perform.

After introducing the 15-year-old, both suddenly looked awkward, as Ant said: She’s almost ready for us… we’re in the final stages of getting ready.

Dec then joked: “For the second night in a row the first act isn’t going to plan.”

“Do you know what, that’s one thing about live television,” chipped Ant.

However boss Simon Cowell was having none of it and furiously hit his buzzer as Ant and Dec insisted he shouldn’t blame them.

Destiny then went on to put on a show-stopping performance and it remained unclear what the reason behind the delay was.

Last night the show was struck by a technical disaster before the first act had performed leaving viewers accusing a children’s choir of miming.

As the St Patrick's primary school choir from County Down started to sing Katy Perry’s Roar, Ant and Dec suddenly ran onstage to stop them.

Ant was heard saying: “Two secs, two secs, two secs, is everything ok?”

As Dec said: “Gonna just stop it there – we’ve just had a few technical issues.”

However as the choir waited for the technical glitch to be sorted, a track with the children’s voices started playing for a few seconds.

Ignoring the backing track and joking about the mishap, Simon Cowell said: “It didn’t take long!”

To which Dec joked: “It’s a new set it’s a new studio!”

However, despite the Irish schoolkids’ stellar performance which sounded live, viewers on Twitter were left accusing them of miming thanks to the snippet of backing track sound.
