Take That give fans sneak peek behind the scenes of their new horror themed music video with zombies, deadly dentists and a house of horrors
TAKE That have surprised their fans with a behind the scenes tour of their new music video for New Day.
The band showed off the clip during today’s episode of This Morning and revealed just how they created some of the scary scenes – which includes a zombie invasion and a sadistic dentist who’s keen to get his hands on Gary Barlow’s gnashers.
Howard Donald kicks off the video and explains: “You’re joining us on the set of New Day. I’m supposed to look like Michael J Fox in the 1980s.”
The band are then faced with a house of horrors, with Mark Owen revealing he's going to get covered head to toe in gunk.
Mark said: “So this is the slime scene. All good horror movies have a slime scene. I’m going to test it out live.”
Standing alongside him in the eerie house, Gary chipped in and said: “The great thing about this video is my hairstyle is the same as it was 22 years ago.
“I’ve even had a guy trying to get a dentist drill into my mouth.”
As the video goes on, Mark gets separated from Gary and Howard and ends up in a field surrounded by freaky zombies which he described as his “Walking Dead moment”.
Luckily for Mark, Gary and Howard come to his rescue and the video ends with the trio dancing with their un-dead pals.
Howard explained: “It’s all happy, which is very unusual for zombies because you’d normally end up getting eaten.”
The band released the official video today following their behind the scenes clip and are currently performing on their Wonderland tour.
Take That’s 2017 tour began on May 5 at the Genting Arena in Birmingham, and was due to end at Carrow Road in Norwich on June 16.
However, the atrocities at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena has forced a change of schedule.
Their gig at Liverpool Echo Arena, which was due to take place on May 23, was rescheduled for Friday 26 May.
The three nights at Manchester Arena on May 25, 26 and 27 have been cancelled and replaced with a single date at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on June 18.
