Foulmouthed TV chef Gordon Ramsay jokes that the Queen told him to ‘f*** off’ after giving him OBE
Mimicking the Royal, The F Word star quipped that she'd given him a 'little handshake and a polite f*** off' during typically crude appearance on US' Late Show
TELLY chef Gordon Ramsay has joked that the Queen told him to “f*** off” after handing him his OBE.
Gordon, 50, made the quip on America’s The Late Show as he plugged his series The F Word.
When host Stephen Colbert asked if he got dubbed with a sword, he replied: “No, that’s when you get knighted.
“An OBE is under that. So it was a little handshake and a polite f*** off."
Mimicking a push from the Queen he added: “She sort of mutters it under her breath.”
Stephen then asked if it was “a very toffee f*** off”.
The chef laughed: “Yes, yes.”
The foul-mouthed star also joked that he got the 2006 honour “for cursing”.
One viewer said: “He was going for shock value but his remarks about the Queen were too far. He was joking but it was disrespectful.”
After the ceremony at Edinburgh’s Holyrood Palace Gordon had revealed he and the Queen “had a nice chat”.
He said he avoided “ribbing her” about not being asked to cook her 80th birthday dinner.
The star added: “It was an amazing ceremony. What I liked was the intimacy.

“I kept my tie on for the most important part. The shirt was a bit small, so I was holding my breath, going blue in the face.
"But I’d never attempt addressing the Queen with no tie on.”
His latest series of The F Word will air in the US with a three-second delay thanks to his colourful language.
Lawyers and censors will be on standby. Gordon said: “I’m hoping somebody’s finger on the buzzer is quicker than me.”
SPACEY IS SWEAR KING
ACTOR Kevin Spacey outswore Ramsay when the pair said “f***” 18 times in 70 seconds in an F Word trailer.
As the pair taste dishes on a patio, House Of Cards star Spacey shouts “We’re f****** filming” at a passer-by.
He describes the food as ‘f****** good”, to which Ramsay says, “Of course it is, I f****** made it’.” The chef later admits defeat saying: “I’ve been outf*****.”
