KATIE Price has teased an unlikely pop comeback by sharing a brief clip from inside the recording studio.
The entrepreneur, 38, took the boomerang snap of a man behind the mixing desk and captioned the post: "So excited 🎤🎧"
Rather than spark excitement among her followers, the post was greeted by trepidation.
One unimpressed fan wrote: "O no not the 🎶 again give it up keep your day job loose women 😂"
Another said: "For the love of God please don't sing ....sorry but Noooo lol x"
A third urged: "Oh god please no, not again..."
"Oh please don't sing again. I don't think the UK can cope with it," complained a fourth.
However, not everyone was against the idea, with some comparing Katie to actress Sam Fox, who tasted success with her own foray into music.
"Sam fox did it so can you xx," said one supporter.
A second said: "Sam fox made to big big in asia and her songs where quite catchy . Dunno about this one."
As another simply wanted Kate to enjoy the experience, writing: "Let her have some fun dammit. music is boss"
Katie previously tried – and failed – to represent Great Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest and has made no secret of how much she rates her vocal abilities.
During an interview with Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold in August, Katie shut the presenter down when he tried to poke fun at her singing voice.
She told him: “Don’t start taking the mick – I can sing!
“[People get the wrong idea] when I get drunk and videos are put on the Internet of me.
“But I’m not manufactured, I’m afraid. If I want to have fun, then I will do.
“When you’re drunk, you do start thinking you can sing like you’re Whitney Houston – but you can’t!”
Katie also famously dueted with ex-husband Peter Andre on the Aladdin classic A Whole New World and album of the same name in 2006, reaching number 20 in the UK charts.
