Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield replaced by Rylan Clark-Neal and Alison Hammond on This Morning this Bank Holiday
HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be replaced on This Morning on Bank Holiday Monday.
The duo have been separated this week as Phil jetted off to Hollywood, leaving Holly to present the ITV show with Rylan Clark-Neal.
And now it's been revealed Holly and Phil will be kept apart even longer, as they both have Monday 29 off for the Bank Holiday.
They will be replaced by Rylan, 28, and Alison Hammond, who have hosted the show together on a number of previous occasions.
Asked by the if she would consider hosting the show full time, Alison, 42, said: "We're actually doing another one on the 29th I think. Bank Holiday.
"So I never say never. Me and Rylan… the partnership will be reunited on the 29th of this month.
"I'll fill in, but I don't want to do it permanently. Do you know what I mean? Leave that to the professionals."
Meanwhile Holly, 35, told OK! Magazine she was looking forward to hosting with Rylan and switching things up from her normal presenting routine.
She said: "[I'm] very excited.
"We've done the show together before and Rylan is great – he's very different to Phil."
And it seems Phillip isn’t worried about Rylan trying to take away his job full time either.
The silver fox said: "I'll be in Los Angeles and I won't care," adding he thinks Rylan will do “just great” filling in for him.
In further This Morning news, Friday host Ruth Langsford has confirmed she will be back on the show tomorrow, after pulling out of the programme's live show's in Birmingham last week due to a "family illness".
She wrote on Twitter on Wednesday night: “Thank you so much for your lovely messages of support… really meant a lot to me. Happy to say I’ll be back on This Morning on Friday.”
