Ruth Langsford thanks fans for support after pulling out of This Morning Live due to a ‘family illness’… and reveals she’ll be back on air on Friday

RUTH Langsford will be back on This Morning this Friday, after pulling out of last weekend's live show due to a family illness.
The popular presenter revealed the news on Twitter today as she thanked fans for their support.
She wrote: "Thank you so much for your lovely messages of support... really meant a lot to me. Happy to say I'll be back on This Morning on Friday."
Fans were thrilled at the news, with many taking to Twitter to offer their support.
One wrote: "We look forward to seeing you on the show with @EamonnHolmes by your side as always & we hope that everything with your family is better.
Another added: "It'll be lovely to see you back - I hope that everything is better now. Hugs."
A third added: "Glad you and your family are ok ... it will be lovely to see u back on Friday!"
The star, 57, had been due to appear at the live event in Birmingham alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes, last Sunday but pulled out last minute - with Rylan Clark-Neal taking her place.
She wrote on Twitter: "So sorry I can't be on stage with Eamonn @This Morning Live today - a family illness means I have to be elsewhere. I hope you understand x."
Rylan took her place and tweeted: "Due to a change in the schedule am on my way back to Birmingham to host #TMLive with @EamonnHolmes . Round 3. Let's have ya!"
Eamonn responded shortly after: "Now there's a Sunday Bonus ! Looking forward to it mate."
On Sunday, a spokesperson for This Morning Live said: “Unfortunately due to family illness, Ruth isn’t able to attend This Morning Live today.”
