Anastacia breaks down in tears on This Morning and says she’ll ‘stand’ for the suicide bombing victims when she performs in Manchester on Saturday
ANASTACIA broke down in tears on today's This Morning and said she'll "stand" for the victims of the Manchester terror attack when she performs in the city on Saturday.
In a pre-recorded clip, the Left Outside Alone singer said Ariana Grande's fans will rally around her after the attack that saw suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 and main 59 concert-goers as they left her gig at the Manchester Arena on Monday night.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Anastacia expressed her shock at the barbaric attack.
She said: "It's one of those things where words have escaped most of us artists. When things like that happen, you really don't know how to approach something so cruel and something so close to your heart.
"Your fans are what make you the artist you are and encourage you to do more. It's such a cowardly act to do it to children and people that are just trying to have a good time."
As Phillip read out Ariana's tweet saying she's "broken" following the attack, Anastacia broke down in tears and said: "I know what she's thinking."
"I hear every word and I know she's saying the truth. When you are a person like Ariana and you are really engaged with your fans and you enjoy the career because they make it fun for you, the fans are probably going to become a wall of strength.

"She's such a power, such a sweetheart and such a doll and I encourage her to walk through it the way that she can.
"Nobody should force her to do anything in any way shape or form to do something that she's doesn't want to do."
Phillip then asked her how she will feel when she performs at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on Saturday as part of her UK tour.
She said: "I really don't know. We'll be there together and we'll be there standing up for everyone else is suffering right now and still going through pain."
The attack has brought up questions about security at concerts but Anastacia said you can't point fingers as everyone does the best they can.
She explained: "We always try to do the best to keep our fans and the crowds safe.
"However, with Ariana, he waited at the door with all the families. He knew no on was going to check him. That was completely not the security's fault on this one.
"They only want to keep people safe and we're not magicians, we can't see through bags.
"I just feel like when people go through that much trouble to hurt someone, we can't point fingers at anyone because it's just an awful thing.
"I know my security will be doing their best to keep my fans safe as well as other artists."
