Viewers flood Ofcom with complaints after expletive-filled episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Hell airs at 11am
Channel 4 viewers were stunned when a sweary edition of Gordon's show aired at 11am
GORDON Ramsay’s notoriously filthy mouth has landed Channel 4 in hot water after an unedited episode of his show Hotel Hell aired in the middle of the day.
The sweary mouthed 50-year-old stars in the post-watershed show - with reports of 19 complaints to Ofcom after an episode aired at 11am giving viewers a rude start to the day.
The episode in question found its way onto TV screens in April and broadcasting for 15 minutes before it was pulled from the air and replaced with a craft show.
In the short window of time the show was screening, Gordon was reportedly heard using the word “f**k” no less than six times.

Channel 4 seemed to realise the mistake after quarter of an hour, replacing the episode with mild mannered Kirstie Allsopp and her show Kirstie’s Handmade Britain.
“Ramsay's Hotel Hell is routinely edited for daytime repeat transmission, however due to an error the first part of the wrong version of this programme was aired this morning,” .
“The programme was quickly removed from the schedule and the continuity announcer apologised to viewers,” they added.
The episode making it onto air was blamed on “human error” by Channel 4 – who also stated they were “responding to Ofcom as part of their investigation.”
Viewers tuning in to the channel at the time were surprised to hear f-ing and blinding at such an early hour.
“11am and we've had plenty of f-bombs!” one fan reportedly tweeted at the time.
Another commented: “Lord Early. Someone should tell Channel 4 that they are airing an uncensored Gordon Ramsay's Hotel Hell at 11am... And quick!”
