Redwater spoilers: First look at emotional funeral scenes after shock death twist

THE sleepy fishing village of Redwater will be in mourning during the second episode as they air the emotional funeral scenes following Lance Byrne’s murder.

Spoiler pictures from the EastEnders spin-off show the residents gathering to pay tribute to local man Lance.

Viewers were left shocked at the first episode’s cliffhanger ending, which had begun with a drowning mystery, and saw Kat’s (Jessie Wallace) “son” drown Lance Byrne (Ian McElhinney) after force feeding him a holy wafer.

And Lance’s family will be leading the procession, including his wife Agnes (Fionnula Flanagan).

His other daughter Eileen (Angeline Ball) will be returning from the US to mourn her dad and will be bringing her son Kieran (Ian Toner).

As they catch up with Eileen’s eldest sister Roisin (Maria Doyle) and the rest of the family, shock is in store whem Lance’s will is read out.

Viewers were delighted with the first episode, and are already enthusiastically waiting for the next instalment.

Kat had thought she had found her son after years of searching and believed it was a farmer, but the murderous priest is believed to be her son.

But some are sceptical that he is.

They cited how he was told he was adopted in 1983, when Zoe Slater – his twin sister Kat was forced to grow alongside as an older sibling – is said to be born a year later.

Meanwhile Jessie has promised fans that they will see a softer side to Kat, and revealed she did all her own stunts for the show – one of which saw her submerged in freezing murky waters.
