HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have hinted that change could be afoot after coming up with a new plan for This Morning.

The telly duo love the fact that the lunchtime panel show Loose Women has a live studio audience - and they think it could work for their daily programme too.

Holly has said she would like to be able to interact and chat with people other than the crew, while Phillip believes the idea could bring a whole new dimension to the show.

Speaking to OK! online, Holly said: "This Morning doesn't have an audience, but it would be nice to have an audience – a lot of the other shows have an audience.

"That brings another element of it really."

Phillip added: "It takes a few seconds on social media to get a response or reaction, but it's so lovely to do an item and look out and see people reacting to it or people shaking their heads."

Holly and Phil have presented This Morning together since 2009.

But they voiced their idea at this week's special This Morning Live event, held in Birmingham.

The pair were surrounded by a large crowd at the time but both said they weren't daunted by it.

Phillip admitted: "It doesn’t make me nervous at all.

"Funnily enough, it never really has."

Although a complete replica of the This Morning set was used for This Morning Live, the event was not broadcast to viewers at home.
