THIS Morning viewers shared hundreds of messages of support as 11-year-old Nicholas Nikiforou appeared on today's show.
The schoolboy endured years of bullying because of a rare birthmark on his face.
However, Nicholas has campaigned tirelessly to help put a stop to bullying, and on Thursday night, he was presented with a Diana Legacy Award by Princes William and Harry.
Nicholas said: “They were very kind. I like carrying Diana’s legacy on and on.”
Proudly showing off his award, he continued: “It means so much to me.”
Nicholas was born with a rare facial birthmark known as Congenital Melanocytic Nevus.
The condition only affects one in 500,000 and although Nicholas had surgery as a child he has been left with some scarring.
Nicholas said of the bullying: “What's the point in staring - we ALL have our differences. It's about what's on the inside.”
Fans of this morning inundated the show with support for Nicholas after his appearance.
